The ideal is to give people an insight into the Movie and the Independent Movie Making process without revealing too much of the Movie. We have started shooting "Little Girl". It is good to be working with Annie again.

The difference with this Movie is the amount of "blue screen" effects.  That and that the timeline of the movie is supposed to be only a few hours.  We have a big shoot planned for this weekend where I have planned to shoot a lot of scenes.

The entire movie was pre-cast.  I hope I can keep the cast I have though. Scheduling people together is always a concern.

2/09/00

I may have to make some changes to the script. Actors seem to be burned out by the long shoot we had on Saturday. This script seems to resemble David Lynch's "The Lost Highway".  I found a real nice website on the movie http://www.The City of Absurdity Lost Highway Pictures.htm.

We have managed to shoot over half the movie, which is fine cause I have to do some special effects.  Tyrone has acquired Adobe After Effects. So, we shall see how things go.  Depending on the cast, it should go well.  The acting has been very nice.  Effects are part of the story, but the real talent comes across in the relationships between the characters.

2/15/00 -

Okay, there are some secret things going on with this film, but they won't be evident till the Movie comes out and maybe not even then. I am scheduling a few more shoots and we should be wrapping soon.  "Blood Kiss" and "Little Girl" will be editing at the same time and then begins the real test of any film. Getting it out in front an audience.

3/02/00

This has been a bit of hell.

Nice performances though.  I now have Adobe After Effects.  Most of the effects in the movie are sleight of hand. This movie was made in mind for all those people who watch movies and try to spot continuity differences. Well, they would lose their minds with this movie.  Oddly enough, although I am quite pleased with the actors I have worked with, I must say I made a serious error in judgment regarding the passion of some people.  While I believe moviemaking is rewarding, anybody who is involved in it, knows it is hard work. Passion will carry you through the hard work and the bad times, but ego will not.

Oh well, enough of that.  The shooting is nearly complete.  I expect to take all of this month and start editing.  The other digital movie Blood Kiss will be completed soon. A lot of espresso and I'll have it done.

No More Directing For Me. Yes, you official heard it here. I will produce, but I honestly don't want to direct! That's got to be the first time someone has ever said, "I don't want to direct."

3/12/00

It snowed in Hell today.

Actually, it was a winter storm warning, which proved fortuitous for me. I was able to get some footage of the snow coming down. The entire movie was supposed to take place during a winter storm, but we have been having great weather, I thought I wouldn't get a snow day.  When the Movie comes out, you'll see why snow is an important part of the story.

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE.

We wrapped a few days ago.  I couldn't have did it without the talents of my actors. Thank you Tiffany, Noel, Kim, Amy, Andy, Jay...

STORYBOARDS

Unlike "Blood Kiss", I won't be posting photos on the site. Although Jay Berkowitz did draw some great photos for the Movie, it is best to keep the storyline under wraps. Besides the ending has changed dramatically. In fact, I'm not even sure what it is until the editing is done. I have to talk to Irving Salberg who is working on the editing with me.  Irving and I go back a long ways, but he wanted to keep some things hidden here.  It's the "Twilight Zone" nature of the Movie.

3/13/00

The editing for "Blood Kiss" is moving along fine. I have decided to only do the effects edits for this movie. We ended up shooting only 4 hours (We shot 7 hours for "Blood Kiss"). Of course, most of "Little Girl" takes place in  "real time".  Although nothing in the movie stays real for too long. Images will be coming next week.

3/18/00 New Entry

Added some Photos from the Shoot.

I also added comments, but don't expect to string together a logical story out of it. I'm not even sure how this movie is going to end!

Beware the ides of March.
