Mr. Alexander has written about two dozen short stories and twenty essays and is presently writing his first novel. He also studied mechanical drafting and has worked in industry as a draftsman. Several machines Mr. Alexander designed are now in use in industry. His greatest interest has always been film, and he has several special effects projects to his credit, including the optical and light-table special effects for the short science fiction film “Duel” and the single-frame model animation for the short film “Rampage.” His drafting experience was utilized in both projects, as he designed and built several models of spaceships and articulated creatures, as well as creating his own special effects method of production and all the necessary hardware. Bill is currently directing episode #1 of "the SHIP," "Legion of Regret."
