I am working on a U.S. Premiere for the Movie. Hopefully, it will be in Cleveland. A lot of the cast never got to see the movie. I have to finish the Illustrated Screenplay, so it can be available with the movie premiere. It is based on the original shooting script. I still feel there were a few scenes that I should have filmed that would have made the story more "fluid." As it stands, I do like "Blood Kiss," but it is more of a film noir, than a vampyre tale. It is one of those movies where you have to watch it twice to pick up some things. Which may not be a bad thing. I think it is important that anyone watching the movie know that the majority of the characters lie. So listening to what they say will only mislead you.

I have to do a promo for all the movies for a movie out of London that Prelude2Cinema is going to distribute.

In doing this, I have to build some short promo for "Blood Kiss." There is a few scenes where the characters mention "trust." In fact, Beth says, "That is, unless you don't trust me." In a film noir whenever someone says trust me, you should duck for cover.

I am not sure how many more pics I want to throw up from the movie on the site. There are already a ton on the site. I am debating about putting up more storyboard images. I may stream the first scene with the "Vampyres" together. If I can get it together with a good size that doesn't look bad.

More to come on the screening...

29 September, 2001 - NEW ENTRY

It's 6:55am. I been up all night. I was up all night last night, but I got a few hours of sleep and meet with one of my new talent from We Know Talent. Had a nice time with her going over a new movie role. Thank God, it's Christopher Young's movie and not mine. I keep saying it, but no new projects for awhile. have to start promoting some of the ones I have out there and finish up the new feature and the episodes of "the SHIP."

Got the mail, and I like getting the mail. Especially today. "Blood Kiss" is going to be shown at the Ohio Independent Film Festival and Market on November 8th. It's an early show. 9am. Oh well, I'll just stay up all night for it.

I talked it over with Jay (Berkowitz) and we both agreed that the illustrated screenplay should be available before the movie comes out.

So, yes, with promoting "Blood Kiss," it means a little more work, but it's a good movie, so it needs to be seen.
