Stupid new Satellite Dish. I ended up taping "The Guardian" instead of "24." Oh well, did get a chance to call the girl, so life is not so bad.

Decided to put Indie Cleveland on the back burner for a while. It is building itself and the site is still there for people to use along with the message boards. I will see what response the Message Board has. I expected people to be more eager to express their opinions.

For now, I have to return to Prelude2Cinema. Did a scene in my friend Bill Alexander's movie and got a chance to see Lisa McKay from "Dare You." She was a little pissed I hadn't finished the movie. Understandably so. She should be pissed at me. I wish I had got with Dawn for those last few shots before she dropped off the face of the earth. Oh well, thank God, we shot mostly in order.

I am going to shoot some stuff with Sora as to give a frame work to the movie. I feel a bit rested, so I can start the edit on that and "Little Girl." Should go buy those blank DVDs. I will need them for storing the footage. If I had the money, I would buy that external hard drive.

Have to get the "Blood Kiss" footage off the computer.

Not sleeping again tonight. Going to go to the web and work on promoting the site. Hit up Indie Club and make some contacts. Found a site called Hypnotic which distributes shorts. may send them "IT girl" and "Negotiators."

I spent a little too much time with IC. I think it is OK right now and I am glad I didn't schedule a December meeting. I may wait till February to do another meeting. The weather will be better and it will give me a chance to gather the Board and do that nonprofit thing and also the other "Program" I have in the works for IC. If the "Program" works out OK, then the time with IC would have been worth it.

I was hoping to join up with the other group, but I don't see that happening. I think they have a different agenda than IC. I am proud that IC is growing and that people can benefit from it. Still takes a lot more time from Prelude2Cinema than I would have liked. I have received some encouraging words about IC, but no real support. And like Raymond Chandler said, "In Hollywood, you can die of encouragement." OK, I think the critic Pauline Kael might have said this as well or instead of Chandler, but I swear I remember reading it in a copy of "Little Sister." Anyway, it sounds like Chandler.

I had a nice time shooting with Lena. Sort of reminded me that I do like shooting and then I did the whole Ivory PhotoShop ad from the digital picture I shot of her. I like the making movies aspects of things. The Creation part of it. IC has got me involved in "politics" and all. Which is interesting, but at the end of the day, not as satisfying.

Hey, maybe I should ask someone to be President of IC. Yeah, see how well that goes. (Cool, listening to Jazz right now- Diana Krall is on. It's from her CD in Paris. Despite my thing with Laura, I'm getting to like blondes again.)

Have to touch base with the other group and see if there is any chance of working together. Would be nice. Still have to refocus on p2c. Got movies to finish and a TV Series to get up and rolling.

Might be shooting this weekend with my Little girl, AG. Got to go back to the web now. I still want to redo all the movie sites for p2c this weekend. New Flash sites for each site. They need a distinctive look. I have been saying that for about a month now. Should start with "Hot Rain" tomorrow and make it ready for movie sales.

I did get off a letter to Christina about the Cleve Film site and ideas I had for it. Want to pursue an alliance there. Would be nice to work with Mister C. Out of most of the people here, he seems into the BUSINESS of it all. And that is a good thing. They don't call it show BUSINESS for nothing.

Email alexmichaels@prelude2cinema.com if you want to talk.
